- I found out about this product because it was on sale but figured I would give it a shot. For years I’ve always had chapped lips no matter how much chapstick I used. I used this item the first day I received it and I did not have high expectations but WOW. For the first time in my memory I woke up to lips that aren’t chapped. Even when I used to use chap stick at night I would wake up and my chapped lips would be back in an hour or two. After using this product my lips have not gotten chapped yet and it’s been several hours since waking up. I am truly impressed. I will absolutely keep using this and buy more when I run out. Thankfully you don’t need much so even this small amount will last quite a long time. Highly recommend if you suffer from frequently chapped lips!
- This lip mask has more moisturizing ability than occlusive products like chap stick, and much better staying power than most lip moisturizing products. I breathe through my mouth in my sleep sometimes, and when I wake up after having done so, the product will have dried up somewhat, but still protects, and when wetted with water, resurrects itself almost to the way it was when first applied. Even when it dries "blobby", it seems to protect my lips despite feeling almost crusty.
The smell is so-so, and I don't detect any flavor, but I have to say it does work.
- I bought this originally in January of this year thinking it was lip balm to help with my dry cracked lips that I tend to experience in the fall/winter months... but when it arrived, I realized that it was a lip mask, so I decided to give it a try! I've been using this for two months now & we're heading into the Spring.. and I have to say, I LOVE the way this makes my lips feel! I put it on at night after all my nightly regiments, I apply right before bed, I wake up with soft lips, not dry. I would say one of the CONS is that the directions on the back of the jar are very, very tiny, so I had to use a magnify glass just to read how & when to apply :( It does have a berry smell that's sweet, I don't lick my lips when it's on, but I would rather have this on my lips at night than CARMEX :) It has a small applicator to apply with, but your smallest finger could do just as well I guess?? In the morning, I wash my face & lips with warm water and the results thus far are AMAZING! :)
